Disease associated with Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Virus (PRRS) continues to be a major problem in all swine producing regions. Numerous techniques have been used to attempt to control the disease including but not limited to, management, biosecurity, gilt acclimation, test and removal, natural exposure, and vaccination. Vaccination has previously been reported to be a safe and efficacious tool in the reduction of disease associated with PRRSV. The objective of this report is to sumarize the data from 16 independent laboratory trials, which evaluated Ingelvac® PRRS and Ingelvac® ATP vaccine efficacy in the respiratory model.
