Understand Current Constraints
When designing a vaccination programme, objective assessment of the capabilities and limitations of the production system is important.

A system may also have labour constraints. For instance, there may be improved compliance with vaccine administration at the farrowing facility compared with multiple contract grow-finish sites.
PRRS control programmes that take these constraints into consideration, and work within them, have the highest likelihood of success.
